2012 Bill Flies Again!

Events Flash!

Field Opening 2012 - Saturday, May 5th, will be our annual work day to get the field ready to fly.  We start the day with a great breakfast at L&R Restaurant in downtown Geneva.  At 10:00 AM we will be at the field to get everything ship shape. Bring rakes, shovels, and anything else you think might be useful to get the field ready for 2012 flight.  Everyone is needed to get the field ready, and we will get in some flying too!  There is a good possibility we will have burgers and hots mid day.

May Meeting - Sunday, May 6th is our next club meeting.  At this point it is still being held at the Geneva American Legion on route 14 south of Geneva.  Social hour starts at 7:00 PM and the meeting starts at 7:30 PM.  Even if you are not a club member but have interest in what we are about you should attend!

About FLAPS . . .

Our main interest is RC sport flying, but at anytime you may see a sailplane, some rockets or a u-control plane in the air. Our members have a variety of backgrounds and interests!

We are open to new members and can teach you how to build, as well as fly your creation. We have a club trainer and buddy box system for those who would like to try the sport before owning a plane.

We welcome visitors and guests at the field, however you must be a member of AMA to fly at FLAPS field. If you are visiting the Finger Lakes Region, please stop in and say hello.

Club meetings are on the first Sunday of the month at 7:00 at the American Legion. Warm weather meetings are held at the field.

Remember - To fly at the Geneva FLAPS field you must have a current status with  AMA.
